The school year is coming to a close in a few weeks. In Academic Support and Study Skills, we’ll focus on two things in May. First, we’ll be supporting students in their efforts to finish the year on a good note. In some cases, that means making up missing work. In some cases, that means extra time studying for upcoming assessments.
We’ll also be focussing on specific learning goals of students in Academic Support, whether those be in reading, math, or some other area. We’ll be assessing and reviewing progress and considering next steps. The end of the year is always a good time for all of us–teachers and students–to reflect on what we’ve learned and where we want to work on next!
